Reese Witherspoon joins Pioneer Woman
Reese Witherspoon is in talks to star in the feature The Pioneer Woman.
According to Deadline, the project is based on Ree Drummond’s blog which details Drummond’s detour on a trip from LA to Chicago that led her to settling in Oklahoma. There she fell in love with a cowboy and decided to live on a cattle ranch.
The film will apparently explore Drummond’s decision to trade big city life for the wholesome country.
Drummond is also the author of Black Heels to Tractor Wheels.
