We have something different to give away on Movies.ie today. We’re big fans of Irish comedian Dara O’Briain, so when Universal Home Entertainment offered us copies to give away, we couldn’t say no.
Dara shot to fame here in Ireland when he hosted ‘The Panel’ on RTE, he was snapped up by UK TV, where he now hosts ‘Mock The Week’.
His new DVD is the culmination of his massive 2008 sell out tour of the UK and Ireland. Recorded at the world famous Hammersmith Apollo before 3,300 fans, this is Dara at his best, mixing top drwer material with lightning fast improvisation to give his audience yet another hilarious night to remember.
There are over 80 minutes of extras on the DVD including ‘Live in Dublin’ A recording of Dara’s show at Dublin’s Vicar Street theatre.
David Mitchell of Peep Show fame pops up to assist with ”In-vision Commentary and Drinking Game.” and most exciting of all is the world’s shortest extra – One joke long!
