Ron Burgundy will return.
It appears that the powers that be have come to their right minds and have given the go ahead for a sequel to the 2004 comedy ‘Anchorman.’
Appearing in character as the legendary Ron Burgandy on Conan O’Brien’s talk show last night Will Ferrell confirmed the news, but not before the KVWN anchorman regaled the audience with his awesome flute skills.
“I want to announce this to everyone here in the Americas, to our friends in Spain, Turkey and the U.K. — including England — that as of 0900 mountain time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel to Anchorman.”
