Watch With Momma – Movies in Temple Bar

Classic movies with delicious food are being served up in Dublin’s newest cafe

Watch With Momma at Dublin’s newest, coolest café, Momma’s Place, upstairs at Filmbase on Temple Bar’s Curved Street, aims to make every Friday night a special movie night. The food menu is as wholesome as a good Irish mammy’s cooking, the prices are right and the wine list is spot on, and the movies are all feel-good classics.

In the lead-up to the upcoming release of the Footloose remake, Watch With Momma is showing the original, starring Kevin Bacon, in a special eighties-dance double bill with Flashdance.

Forthcoming films in a season that’s bound to satisfy any film and food lover’s tastebuds include John Waters’ Female Trouble, Baz Lurhman’s Stricty Ballroom, the cult musical classic, Cabaret, and the camp coven comedy, The Witches of Eastwick.
