Resident Evil

Zombies, viruses, and plots to destroy the world, you would be hard pressed to find a gamer who has never gotten their hands on a copy of the Resident Evil franchise. With the first game released in 1996, the movies followed similar plot to the series and even referenced little things for the game fans to pick up on. The Umbrella Corporation has been researching varios biological weapons, when the T-Virus is released, the host computer shuts the underground facility down and kills everyone inside, a team of specially trained soldiers are sent in to…deal with the crisis inside. Mila Jovovich takes on the role of Alice, a agent working for Umbrella and would reprise the role in three more sequels with the third being released later this year.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider

She turned the heads of many players, with her sleek, stylish and curvaceous pixelated body, Lara Croft is considered to be one of the most beautiful video game characters designed. With a thirst for adventure, enough moves to put Chuck Norris in his place and some deadly firearms Lara searches out some of the most perilous locations in the quest to uncover secret treasures and inevitable save the world. Angelina Jolie stepped into Lara’s hotpants when the movie was released in 2001. Lara encounters the Illuminati in her movie adventure and must race to get her hands on a ancient relic capable of controlling time. A sequel entitled Lara Croft Tomb Raider The Cradle of Life was released in 2003 and a third movie has been in the works since 2009.

Final Fantasy: Advent Children

Rumours of Square’s development of a movie sequel to probably one of the most famous RPGs (Role Playing Game) ever created, Final Fantasy VII, circled the internet for years, with speculation on actors cast in the various roles of some of the most beloved characters.
