Washington is Unstoppable Again

Denzel Washington back on board for Tony Scott’s ‘Unstoppable’

Almost two weeks after withdrawing from the project, Denzel Washington is back on Tony Scott’s runaway train thriller Unstoppable.

The actor, who initially declined taking a US$4mil pay cut when budget considerations for the project became an issue, has reached a compromise with the studio, 20th Century Fox.

Inspired by real-life events, the film will tell of a veteran engineer and a young conductor who must stop a runaway train filled with deadly toxic material.

Chris Pine (Star Trek) is set to play the conductor.
