Denzel Washington is in talks to star in the upcoming thriller Safe House.
Variety report that Universal Pictures has brought in director Daniel Espinoza to work through a quick rewrite with David Guggenheim, who penned the original script.
The movie centres on a house sitter of a CIA-run safe house who must help a criminal, who’s being hidden there, avoid being killed as they flee to another secure facility when the first house is destroyed by villains who want the witness dead.
The film is expected to start this winter.
