True life tale lines up new director.
‘On the Road’ helmer Walter Salles is in reportedly in talks with Fox Searchlight to direct an adaptation of Mark Seal’s non-fiction book ‘The Man in the Rockefeller Suit.’
Salles would be replacing Scott Cooper (‘Crazy Heart’) who was previously on board to direct the true life tale of Christian Gerhartsreiter, a German-born imposter who posed as a member of the Rockefeller family and got away with it for decades.
The film will be produced by Donald De Line (‘Pain & Gain,’ ‘Green Lantern’) with Claudia Lewis and David Greenbaum overseeing for Fox Searchlight.
