Viggo Mortensen (‘The Two Faces of January,’ ‘On The Road’) is in talks to star in ‘Captain Fantastic,’ a drama written and to be directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Matt Ross (‘28 Hotel Rooms’).
Details on the story come via Deadline. The film will see Mortensen play “an idealistic father who, after a decade of living off the grid in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, must return with his six young kids to assimilate back into society.”
Principal photography is pencilled in for a summer start with Lynette Howell and Jamie Patricof of Electric City Entertainment producing
