He’s been labelled this generation’s answer to Colin Firth and Hugh Grant but is Hugh Dancy happy about it? As Movies.ie found the 33-year-old actor seems unphased by such comparisons.
Dancy, who has previously starred in such as “Adam”, “Savage Grace”, “Basic Insticnt 2” and “Ella Enchanted” , stars opposite Isla Fisher as the steady editor of a financial magazine, who hires Isla’s scatty shopping addict in Hollywood rom com “Confessions of a Shopaholic” – directed by PJ Hogan, of “Muriel’s Wedding” fame.
Here, Paul Bryne talks to the actor about what brought him to the rom-com hit , life in Hollywood and his relationship with girlfriend and fellow actor Clare Danes.
