With Iron Man out on DVD Friday, Movies.ie chats to Gwyneth Paltrow about her role in the superhero phenomenon.
After a string of big hit movies in her 20s (not to mention her blubbering Oscar win) Gwyneth Paltrow seemed to disappear from the Hollywood in favour of a more tradition family life. Now in her 30s, Mrs Coldplay has decided to return to Hollywood in a big way and what better film to kick start the ‘Shakespeare in Love’ star’s renaissance than with one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters – Iron Man.
So what was it that brought Paltrow to the film – the chance of working with Robert Downey Jr., a break from Chris Martin and his fair trade coffee or maybe the opportunity to play a character with a stranger name than her own? Movies.ie sat down with Paltrow aka Pepper Potts to talk Iron Man – out this week on DVD and Blu Ray.
