Dustin Hoffman talks about lending his voice to a red Panda in Kung Fu Panda, out on DVD this weekend.
He’s played a transvestite in Tootsie, a mad scientist in Perfume, a lusty teenager in The Graduate but none of this prepared vetern actor Dustin Hoffman for the crazy world of animation.
This year see’s Dustin voice two animated characters, he’ll appear next month in The Tale of Despereaux and his weekend you’ll be able to hear him play Shifu in Kungfu Panda.
Dustin is certainly a fun guy, so it came as a surprise that he’d never heard of his name-sake Dustin The Turkey. We talked turkey and more when he met him recently to talk about Kung-Fu Panda.
