Paul Verhoeven to Take on The Hidden Force
Paul Verhoeven will reporedly to helm the forthcoming drama The Hidden Force.
Adapted from the Dutch novel of the same name by Louis Couperus, the story takes place in 1900 on the island of Java in the Dutch East Indies.
The project is Verhoeven’s first film since the 2006 drama Black Book. His previous movies also include Starship Troopers, Total Recall and Basic Instinct.
