Denis Leary set for supporting role.
Word is coming from TheWrap that Vanessa Hudgens (‘The Frozen Ground,’ ‘Spring Breakers’) is in early talks to join the cast of Robbie Pickering’s genre flick ‘The Kitchen Sink.’
‘The Kitchen Sink,’ in the vein of ‘Zombieland,’ is a horror comedy that follows a group of teens who form an unlikely alliance with vampires and zombies in order to take on an alien army. The film is based the 2010 Black List script by Oren Uziel.
As revealed back in January, Nicholas Braun (‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’), Mackenzie Davis (‘Breathe In’), Josh Fadem (‘Awful Nice,’ ‘The Eric Andre Show’) and Chris Zylka (‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ ‘Piranha 3DD’) are already on board, with Denis Leary (‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ ‘Ice Age’) confirmed for a role.
