Move over Twilight… Vampire Academy is here!
A film based on the acclaimed book series Vampire Academy is reportedly in the works.
Preger Entertainment has acquired the film rights to the popular franchise, which is now on the The New York Times best-selling list.
The action-driven “paranormal romance” centres on the character of Rose Hathaway, a 17-year-old half-human half-vampire and guardian of a race of daywalking vampires.
Rose enters St. Vladimir’s Academy as a guardian to Princess Lissa. Together, they take on the challenges at the academy.
The novels have sold more than 3.5 million copies in the US and 1 million internationally.
