Two more board Sam Munson adaptation…
Catherine Keener (‘Captain Phillips,’ ‘Being John Malkovich’) and newcomer Travis Tope (‘The Town That Dreaded Sundown’) are set to join Chloë Moretz in Sacha Gervasi’s ‘November Criminals.’
Based on the 2011 novel by Sam Munson, the Washington D.C. set drama sees Tope playing Addison Schacht, a rebellious high-school senior who finds himself exploring the underbelly of the America captial’s society in order to uncover the mystery surrounding the death of a fellow student.
TheWrap has Keener playing the mother of Moretz’s character, Phoebe, who helps Addison pursue the killer.
Filming is set to get underway early 2014 with Gervasi working from an adapted script by Steven Knight (‘Eastern Promises’). Steven Rales of Indian Paintbrush will produce with Beth O’Neil.
