TRANSFORMERS 4 Adds Kelsey Grammer, T.J. Miller and Li Bingbing

Three more board the fourth outing as filming begins.

Kelsey Grammer (‘X-Men: The Last Stand,’ ‘Frasier’), T.J. Miller (‘How to Train Your Dragon,’ ‘Cloverfield’) and Chinese actress/singer Li Bingbing (‘Resident Evil: Retribution,’ ‘Snow Flower And The Secret Fan’) have closed deals to join Mark Wahlberg, ‘What Richard Did’ star Jack Reynor, and Nicola Peltz (‘Bates Motel’) on the cast of Michael Bay’s ‘Transformers 4.’

Scripted by Ehren Kruger, the film picks up four years after the events of ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ and will co-star Stanley Tucci (‘The Company You Keep,’ ‘The Hunger Games’), and British actress Sophia Myles (‘Outlander,’ ‘Underworld’).

Grammer is said to be playing the movie’s villain, a counter intelligence officer Harold Attinger. TheWrap has Miller playing “a blue-collar mechanic who is a long-time friend” of Wahlberg’s character, while details on Bingbing’s role are being kept under wraps for now.

Production on the fourth installment of the hit film franchise is now underway, and Yahoo! has debuted the first looks at two the film’s newly-designed Autobots (in car form) that will be appearing in the film: a 1,200-horsepower Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse (worth $2.4 million), and a special race-inspired C7 Corvette Stingray (based on the Chevrolet’s designs for 2014). Updated with the first look at the newly-designed Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.
