TR2N Goes Wilde

Olivia Wilde, Beau Garrett Cast in Tron 2.0

Actress Olivia Wilde has signed up for sci-fi sequel TR2N.

Wilde, who stars as Thirteen in medical drama, House, will play the female lead in the long-awaited follow-up to 1982’s Tron.

Beau Garrett has also been confirmed for the movie. Garrett will play a siren, while Wilde is cast as a worker who helps fight the evil Master Control Program in a digital world. Jeff Bridges confirmed in October that he would reprise his role as hacker Kevin Flynn.

Bruce Boxleitner is not expected to return to play the role of Tron in the Joseph Kosinski-helmed movie.
