Facebook game heading to the big screen?
‘Toy Story’ writers Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen have revealed that they may be in talks to tackle a feature based on the ‘Farmville,’ the farming simulation social network game developed by game publisher Zynga.
Talking to gaming news site IGN, the scribes said, “We are also working on several new and very exciting opportunities. We’re in conversations with Zynga to do something with one of their brands. Can’t really say too much on that front yet, but ‘Old MacDonald’ didn’t have a factory, if you get our drift.”
IGN noted that while there had been previous rumors about Zynga working on a feature of the popular ‘Mafia Wars,’ a Farmville movie has never been revealed. When contacted, Zynga refused to comment.
