Lives of Others helmer returns to The Tourist
Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck – the award winning director of german picture The Lives of Others” has returned to the Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp’s thriller The Tourist.
The German filmmaker had previously been attached to make the movie with Tom Cruise but dropped out during script development.
The movie reportedly centres on an Interpol agent (Jolie) who manipulates an American tourist (Depp) to out a known criminal.
The film is based on the 2005 French film Anthony Zimmer.
