Reboot moving forward with new scribe.
Screenwriter Marti Noxon (‘Fright Night,’ Buffy the Vampire Slayer’) has been tapped to provide the script for the long-gesting reboot of ‘Tomb Raider.’
In development over at MGM, the film is believed to be more in line with the recent reboot of the videogame series and will explore the origin story of iconic heroine Lara Croft.
Noxon replaces the Oscar nominated writing duo Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (‘Children of Men,’ ‘Iron Man,’ ‘Cowboys & Aliens’).
Graham King and Tim Headington are producing through their GK Films banner.
