King’s Speech helmer tackles Les Miserables?
Tom Hooper is in talks to direct a film adaptation of Les Miserables.
The novel, which is already a hugely successful West End musical, is about an ex-convict who is struggling to set his life right in revolutionary Paris.
Hooper, who last directed the Oscar nominated The King’s Speech, is said to have turned down Iron Man 3, potentially freeing up time to work on the epic novel adaptation.
