Tom Cruise in final talks for Rock of Ages
Tom Cruise is now in final talks to star in Adam Shankman’s Rock of Ages adaptation.
If confirmed, Cruise will play Jaxx, who sings Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive” in the theater production from which the film is adapted.
Hairspray’s Adam Shankman is helming the musical, which follows two people who meet at the Sunset Strip club Rock of Ages, fall in love and try to stay together amid ’80s rock anthems.
Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand are in talks to join the film.
