Pair may reteam for fact-based drama…
Director Doug Liman and his ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ star Tom Cruise may reteam for the 1980s crime drama ‘Mena,’ according to Deadline.
The project, first announced last year when Ron Howard was attached to direct, was penned by Gary Spinelli and tells of Barry Seal, a portly Arkansas-based pilot who, in the 1980s, was a gunrunner and drug trafficker for the Central Intelligence Agency and the Medellín Cartel.
Quadrant Pictures’ Doug Davison and Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer are producing with Cross Creek’s Brian Oliver and Tyler Thompson, Kim Roth is serving as executive producer.
