VFX helmer adds another project to future slate.

Variety is reporting that 20th Century Fox has tapped visual effects director and Blur Studios co-founder Tim Miller to take the directing reigns of the action thriller ‘Artemis.’

Plot details are under wrap but the film has been described as a contained action thriller set in outer space. The studio has signed Andrew Lobel (‘Tunnels’) to work on the script.

Jon Davis is on board to produce with Derek Dauchy and John Fox of Davis Entertainment overseeing.

‘Artemis’ is the latest project that Miller is attached to direct. Other films on the director’s slate include Fox’s long-in-development ‘Deadpool’ movie, an adaptation of the Warren Ellis comic book series ‘Gravel,’ and sci-fi flick ‘Seasons’ for Sony Pictures.
