Jarmusch tackling vampires for his next directorial effort.

THR reports that Tilda Swindon (‘We Need To Talk About Kevin’) is set to reteam with her ‘The Limits of Control’ director Jim Jarmusch for his horror drama ‘Only Lovers Left Alive.’

Swindon will be joined by John Hurt (‘Tinker Tailor Solider Spy’), Tom Hiddleston (‘War Horse,’ ‘Thor’) and Mia Wasikowska (‘Albert Nobbs’) for the film, which has been described as an unusual love story between two vampires who have been in love for centuries. Hiddleston will be replacing Michael Fassbender, who was previously lined up for a role.

Jarmusch will be producing alongside Cologne-based Pandora films. Lensing will begin in Germany later this year.
