Thomas Jane Being Replaced on HEADSHOT

Reports coming out that production company want actor replaced.

Back in April we told you that Thomas Jane (‘Hung,’ ‘The Punisher’) was set to star opposite Sylvester Stallone in the action comedy ‘Headshot’ for director Walter Hill (‘Streets of Fire’ ‘48 Hrs.,’ ‘The Warriors’). Jane would play a NYPD detective who teams with New Orleans hitman who would “take on all who stand in their way,” and would “sacrifice everything to exact revenge.” Sounds great doesn’t it, what could be better?

Well according to a “well-placed source” for Aint It Cool News, the production company behind the movie, Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Entertainment, think that replacing Jane with somebody more “ethnic” would be better and would meet an in-house formula-for-success. Jane is believed to be the first choice for Stallone and Hill.

JoBlo’s ‘Arrow in the Head’ got in touch with Jane to find out from the man himself to see if there is any truth to the rumour. Jane’s reply:

“No comment, but I can tell you this, we have a classic with me & Sly & Hill. Script is tailor made for us all.”
