THE WILDERNESS OF JAMES Adds Isabelle Fuhrman September 17, 2012 Moretz out, Fuhrman in. ‘The Hunger Games’ and ‘Orphan’ star Isabelle Fuhrman has signed up to replace Chloë Moretz in the coming-of-age indie ‘The Wilderness of James,’ says Deadline. With screenwriter Michael Johnson attached to direct from his own screenplay, the Portland-set drama and is about a young boy (played by Kodi Smitt-McPhee) dealing with absence of his father. Fuhrman will be taking the role of Val opposite Smitt-McPhee. Moretz was originally being lined for the role but to pass on the project due to her schedule with the ‘Kick-Ass’ sequel.
