THE BROTHERS GRIMM Headed to the Small Screen

Fantasy series based on the 2005 film in the works…

Penned by Kruger, the 2005 the film starred Matt Damon and Heath Ledger as Will and Jake Grimm, travelling con artists who encounter a genuine fairy-tale curse that requires true courage instead of their usual bogus exorcisms.

The new series will follow the brothers as they discover the startling mythology and supernatural stakes behind the folklore sweeping 19th century Europe.

“The original stories the Brothers set out to collect were not for the faint of heart and we’ll be making a show that gets back to those origins and their cautionary, scary, thrilling spirit,” said Kruger in a statement.

“We reached out to Ehren Kruger and producing partner Daniel Bobker to see if they had any interest in making The Brothers Grimm movie into a TV show and the pitch Ehren came back with blew us away,” added Miramax VP of Television Daniel Pipski. “We’re thrilled to be working with a writer of his calibre.”
