We bring you some factoids about Jennifer Garner, star of THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN
THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN is released in Irish cinemas this weekend, and tells the story of a happily married couple who can’t wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. Movies.ie brings you ten things we feel you really should know about the star of the film, Jennifer Garner.
Garner trained as a ballerina from the age of three.
That explains the Thriller dance in 13 Going on 30…
The actress’s first big screen appearance was as Ashton Kutcher’s girlfriend in Dude, Where’s My Car?
Hey, we all have to start somewhere!
While filming Daredevil, Garner kicked co-star Ben Affleck so hard in the head that he briefly blacked out.
Love blooms in the strangest places!
Garner enrolled in university to study chemistry, but soon found her love of drama overpowered her love of science and changed courses.
…And we are glad Garner found her real calling.
Jennifer starred as Sidney Bristow in the spy TV show Alias for five seasons. She won four consecutive Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress and even directed one of the episodes in season 4.
Alias is a great show, mostly, but season 5 kind of jumped the shark.
Jennifer Garner reportedly told a journalist that she felt Elektra was a terrible movie, and that she only filmed it because of contractual obligations from Daredevil.
Yay! Thank god she agrees with us.
Garner was married to actor Scott Foley (Sean from Scrubs) for four years. They divorced in 2004.
We like Scott Foley, but we are more fond of the Affleck.
Jennifer’s first appearance in a film with her husband to be, Ben Affleck, was in Pearl Harbour. They later shared the screen together again in Daredevil.
Neither great movies, but like we said, love blooms in the strangest places.
Christa B. Allen has played the younger version of a character played by Jennifer Garner in 13 Going on 30 and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
And Allen really is the image of a young Garner. Good call, Jennifer!
Victor Garber officiated Garner’s wedding to Ben Affleck. Besides the happy couple, Garber was the only other person at the wedding.
…And Garber played Garner’s father in Alias. That’s kind of cute.
