Susan Sarandon has joined the cast of Oliver Stone’s Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.
Sarandon joins Michael Douglas who returns as Gordon Gekko from the 1987 original as well as Shia LaBeouf, Frank Langella and Carey Mulligan with the casting of Josh Brolin as the film’s villain still in question.
The actress will play the mother of a young Wall Street trader (LaBeouf) who falls under the seductive influence of Gordon Gekko.
The actress will next be seen in Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones.
