Iron Man’s Howard Stark to appear in Captain America: The First Avenger
Jon Favreau has revealed that the character of Howard Stark, father to Iron Man’s Tony Stark, will appear in Captain America: The First Avenger.
The Iron Man 2 director said that Howard, played by John Slattery in Marvel’s Iron Man sequel, will play a role in the Captain America movie.
Favreau explained that the character will be played by another actor in Captain America since that film takes place during World War II.
“[Howard Stark] was starting out during that time, and [he] was involved with the war effort, much like Howard Hughes,” Favreau said.
