Spider-Man creator Stan Lee wants Tobey Maguire back for reboot
Stan Lee – the creator of Spider-Man – has suggested that Tobey Maguire should reprise his role as the webslinger in the planned reboot.
Speaking to reporters, the comic book writer suggested that Maguire is the best choice to continue playing the character.
“Tobey IS Peter Parker. I love him and what he did for Spider-Man,” Lee said.
So far, actors suggested for the role include Jamie Bell, Aaron Johnson, Anton Yelchin and Josh Hutcherson have been shortlisted for the part.
