Stallone Enters THE TOMB

Action thriller sends Stallone to jail.

Sylvester Stallone has signed on to take the lead in the action thriller ‘The Tomb,’ says Variety.

Originally penned by Miles Chapman with rewrites from Jason Keller, the story follows Ray Breslin, the world’s foremost authority on structural security — specifically prisons. His skills are put to the test when he is framed and put in a high-security prison of his own design and must find the person who put him there.

Antoine Fuqua (‘Training Day’) was initially attached to direct with both Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger in consideration for the lead until both moved on to other projects. Producers are now on the hunt for a filmmaker to replace Fuqua who moved on to the boxing drama ‘Southpaw.’
