‘Let The Devil Wear Black’ scribe providing the script…
Stacy Title (‘The Last Supper,’ ‘Hood Of Horror’) has been tapped by TWC-Dimension to take the helm of the supernatural thriller ‘The Bye Bye Man.’
Plot details are under wrap, however, the Jonathan Penner-penned script was adapted from the short story ‘The Bridge to Body Island’ by Robert Damon Schneck, which chronicles the harrowing events experienced by three Wisconsin college students in the early 1990s.
Intrepid Pictures head honcho Trevor Macy will produce with Marc D. Evans and David Prior serving as executive producers. Matthew Signer and Keith Levine of TWC-Dimension will oversee development.
“There are only a few truly scary and iconic characters within this genre, and we think The Bye Bye Man has the potential to be the next one,” said Signer. “Trevor and Stacy will be great partners in bringing this fantastic and terrifying script to the screen.”
