Spike Jonze’s HER Adds Scarlett Johansson

Actress will lend her voice to the indie feature.

Vulture is hearing word that Scarlett Johansson has been added to the cast of Spike Jonze’s upcoming next, ‘Her,’ joining a cast that includes Joaquin Phoenix (‘The Master’), Rooney Mara (‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’), Amy Adams (‘Man of Steel’), and Olivia Wilde (‘Drinking Buddies’).

‘Avengers Assemble’ star Johansson replaces Samantha Morton, who was previously attached to voice a computer with whom a lonely writer develops an unlikely relationship with.

The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas toward the end of the year.

Johansson, who is currently filming ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ will next be seen starring alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the actor’s directorial debut ‘Don Jon.’ The comedy hits Irish cinemas in November.
