Clint Eastwood to Direct Supernatural Thriller ‘Hereafter’
Although it’s still in early stages, Steven Spielberg is reported to be wooing Clint Eastwood to direct the project the supernatural pic “Hereafter”.
Plot details are being kept under wraps however it has been described as being in the vein of “The Sixth Sense”.
Led by principals Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider, Dreamworks picked up the spec penned by “Frost/Nixon” scribe Peter Morgan in March when it was still a part of Paramount Pictures. DreamWorks held onto the project as part of its separation pact .
If Eastwood were to direct, it would mark his first foray into the supernatural.
