Spider-Man 4 delayed due to script disputes
Production on the fourth Spider-Man has stalled due to a disputes over the film’s script.
According to reports, the sequel could miss its May 5, 2011 release date because of a difference of opinion between director Sam Raimi and Sony Pictures about the story.
The script is reportedly still being redrafted for the film with Raimi insisting that John Malkovich play the film’s villain. Anne Hathaway’s reported involvement in the project is now in question:
“I’m not so sure we’re going in that direction,” an insider said about Hathaway.
