Soderbergh’s LOGAN LUCKY to Star Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, & Riley Keough

It looks like Steven Soderbergh’s retirement from directing will be shortlived, as the folks over THR are hearing word that the filmmaker is set to take the helm of the hillbilly heist caper ‘Logan Lucky.’

The film, Soderbergh’s first feature since 2013’s ‘Side Effects,’ will see Channing Tatum (’22 Jump Street,’ ‘Gambit’) and Adam Driver (‘Midnight Special,’ ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’) playing brothers who plan a heist during a high-profile NASCAR race.

Riley Keough, who previously worked with Soderbergh and Tatum on 2012’s ‘Magic Mike,’ and now stars in the small screen adaptation of Soderbergh’s ‘The Girlfriend Experience,’ will co-star.

Producers include Gregory Jacobs, Mark Johnson and Tatum’s partner over at Free Association, Reid Carolin.
