Slater on Board for Lars Von Trier’s NYMPHOMANIAC

Pornographic drama adds another.

THR has word that Christian Slater has jumped aboard the all-star cast of ‘Nymphomaniac,’ Lars Von Trier’s pornographic drama which is currently in production in Germany outside Cologne.

Starring Charlotte Gainsbourg as Joe, a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, the film is an exploration of female sexuality from birth to age 50. According to the trade, Slater will play the father of Gainsbourg’s character in flashbacks.

The cast includes Stellan Skarsgård, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen, Mia Goth, Jens Albinus, Severin von Hoensbroech, Peter Gilberg Cotton, Nicolas Bro, Tabea Tarbiat, Janine Romanowski, Jesper Christensen, Tania Carlin, Felicity Gilbert and Shanti Roney.

On working with Von Trier, Slater had the following to say:
