Shia LaBeouf joins The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman
Shia LaBeouf has signing on to The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman.
The script, written by Matt Drake, was on the 2007 version of the Black List, the annual gathering of the screenplays that Hollywood execs, agents and other consider to be the best unproduced work.
LaBeouf will play the titular lead character, who heads off to Budapest to clear his head and heart after his mother dies of cancer.
Dante Ariola is making his feature directorial debut on the project.
