Trio to topline indie drama.

Irish star Robert Sheehan (‘Love/Hate’), Dev Patel (‘Slumdog Millionaire’) and Zoe Kravitz (‘X-Men: First Class’) have all signed on to take the leads in Gren Wells’ indie drama ‘The Road Within.’

Set to go before cameras next month, Sheehan will be playing a man suffering from Tourette syndrome placed in a residential clinic, where he falls in love with an anorexic woman played by Kravitz. Variety has Patel portraying a man with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The film is an English-language remake of Ralf Huettner’s 2010 German feature ‘Vincent Will Meer.’

Sheehan will next be seen starring alongside Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower in ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ when it arrives in Irish cinemas this August. Patel, who was last seen in ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,’ is currently starring in ‘The Newsroom,’ while Kravitz has ‘After Earth’ up next.
