Filmmaker to produce post-apocalyptic road movie.
Heat Vision is reporting that Shawn Levy (‘Real Steel,’ ‘Night at the Museum’) and Paramount Pictures are in negotiations to acquire Brian Duffield’s spec script ‘Monster Problems.’
While details are being kept firmly under wraps the project is described as “a post-apocalyptic road movie in the vein of ‘Mad Max’ and ‘Zombieland’ with a John Hughes-esque love story at its center.”
Levy would produce via his 21 Laps production banner with Billy Rosenberg and Dan Cohen overseeing the project.
