Lethal Weapon’s Shane Black directs superhero adventure Doc Savage
Shane Black is reportedly working on a big screen adaptation of superhero Doc Savage.
The superhuman adventurer, inventor, explorer and crime fighte’ was created to capitalize on the sucess of the earlier pulp hero the Shadow. His adventures ran in Doc Savage Magazine from 1933 to 1949.
Black, best known for his work on Lethal Weapon and more recently Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang will director the film.
The project will be the second movie adaptation after the 1975 film Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze.
