Long gestating adaptation lands scribe.
Seth Lochhead, co-writer of Joe Wright’s ‘Hanna,’ has been tapped to pen the screenplay for the long-in-development big screen adaptation of the popular videogame ‘Shadow of the Colossus,’ reports THR.
The game, first released by Team ICO in 2006, revolves around a young man named Wander who must travel across a cursed wasteland on horseback and defeat 16 creatures, known as the colossi, in order to resurrect a girl named Mono.
‘Chronicle’ helmer Josh Trank is attached to direct with Kevin Misher (‘Carrie,’ ‘Public Enemies’) producing. Andy Berman and Kevin Chang of Misher Films’ are overseeing.
