Hollywood planning drama based on 2006 wildland fire.
Deadline is reporting that Legendary Pictures has brought in Sean O’Keefe to pen an adaptation of the John Maclean book ‘The Esperanza Fire: Arson, Murder and the Agony of Engine 57.’
Published back in February, the book tells the heroic last stand of a closely-knit engine crew against the all-consuming Esperanza Fire of 2006.
O’Keefe has worked on projects such as The Paperman, Riders On The Storm, Apaches, The Cruelest Miles, and World’s Most Wanted.
