Sean Bean joins Frankenstein’s origins tale…
Sean Bean has been confirmed for the upcoming Death Race sequel.
According to reports, the film, which will go straight-to-DVD will tell the origin story for racer Frankenstein, a convicted cop killer sent to prison just as the titular demolition derby-style reality show is launched.
Luke Goss will play Frankenstein, while the cast will also feature movie tough guys Ving Rhames and Danny Trejo as well as Lord of the Rings star Bean.
Roel Reine will helm the project from a script by Tony Giglio.
