Sarah Snook and Mark Webber to Lead Horror Tale JESSABELLE

New supernatural secures its leads.

‘Saw 3D’ helmer Kevin Greutert is attached to direct Australian actress Sarah Snook (‘Sleeping Beauty’) and indie favourite Mark Webber (‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’) in the supernatural horror ‘Jessabelle,’ reports Variety.

The screenplay was written by Robert Ben Garant (‘Night at the Museum’) and centers on Snook’s character, “a woman who is forced to return to her father’s home in Louisiana when a car accident leaves her without the use of her legs. It’s not long before she discovers a mystery surrounding her own birth, as well as an angry ghost determined to destroy her.” Webber will play her childhood friend who helps her uncover the truth about her family.

Production is set for April with Jason Blum of ‘Paranormal Activity’ fame producing.
