Will the Avatar star play Flash Gordon?
Sam Worthington is reportedly in talks to star in a possible Flash Gordon movie.
The Avatar star has been linked to the role of sci-fi comic book hero Steven ‘Flash’ Gordon in the remake of the 1980 film.
According to source there are currently two actors up for the part:
“Right now it’s between Sam, Ryan Reynolds and one or two others for the lead role should the project actually get off the ground.”
Worthington will next be seen in the Clash Of The Titans, due to be released in March 2010.
