Ryan Phillipe is reportedly being considered for the role of Captain America.
According to reports, the Stop-Loss star is a contender for the lead part in Marvel Studio’s The First Avenger: Captain America.
Other actors up for the part include: Michael Cassidy, Chace Crawford, Scott Porter, Garret Hedlund, Mike Vogel, Chris Evans and John Krasinski.
Hugo Weaving is in negotiations to portray villain Red Skull in the superhero picture.
